I’m an editor and writer based in New York. I write Your Home Is Not Ugly, a newsletter about design for normies.

Most recently, I was a senior editor at Dwell, where I edited and wrote stories in the design, interiors, and home space. Previously, I was a staff writer and managing editor at Jezebel, where I edited, assigned, and wrote culture and news stories. My work has been published in New York Magazine, the New York Times, the Guardian, Wrong House, Buzzfeed, Elle, the Hairpin, the Awl, the Billfold, Vulture, and more. 

I also wrote a book. Like: A History of the English Language’s Most Hated (and Misunderstood) Word  is out wherever you like to buy!
